The listed evidence base for early China is chiefly archaeological, including regional settlement syntheses, Yin Xu remains, and ritual-bronze contexts.

The strongest evidence is archaeological. Neolithic and Bronze Age sites show regional development, farming, social ranking, craft specialization, jade ritual systems, water management, walled settlements, bronze production, and eventually writing. The strongest textual evidence begins with oracle bones and bronze inscriptions. These provide a direct bridge between material archaeology and named historical actors.

Limiting / critical citation for public claim

The listed archaeological sources do not justify equating every archaeological culture with a transmitted dynasty or inferring global diffusion or nonhuman agents from visual resemblance.

The evidence does not automatically support broader causal, technological, transmission, or literalizing claims beyond the cited record.
